Itinerary information
Day - 01 : Arrival Cochin – Munnar (135 Km / 4.5 Hrs)
Arrival Cochin Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station. Then Proceed to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never-ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Reach and check in at Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day - 02 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed to Explore Full Day Munnar Sightseeing. Visit Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats - the Nilgiri Thars. Evening Return back to hotel Dinner and Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day - 03 : Munnar - Thekkady (105 Km / 3.5 Hrs)
Morning After breakfast, Check out from hotel and proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Check in at Hotel. Then proceed to Periyar Lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy a plantation tour covering tea, coffee, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Evening Return back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Thekkady.
Day - 04 : Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat (160 Km / 3.5 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast, Check out from hotel and drive to Alleppey. 11 o' Clock reach at Houseboat. check in at the houseboat. Do a mind blowing cruise through the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Dinner and Overnight Stay at Alleppey Houseboat.
Day - 05 : Alleppey to Cochin (80 Km / 1.5 Hrs)
After Breakfast Check out from houseboat and Visit Alleppey beach and drive to Cochin for sightseeing. If time consists, Cochin sightseeing includes fort cochin, navy museum, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing net, Santa claus basilica, Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue, Marine drive, Marine walkway. Evening reach at Cochin Hotel, Check in at Hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Cochin at Hotel
Day - 06 : Departure
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport or Ernakulam Railway Station to board the Flight or Train for your Onward Journey.
